Job Description

Fynd is a frontier technology company. We started at the intersection of technology and retail because that is where technology was the least available. Over the years, we became one of India’s largest retail technology platforms. But retail was the entry point, not the boundary.
Today, Fynd builds intelligent software that runs business operations. Not tools that help people work faster, but systems that absorb entire functions: manufacturing, marketing, logistics, commerce, quality control. We sit inside our customers’ businesses, harvest deep domain context, and build AI systems that operate autonomously. We are expanding from retail into manufacturing, generative media, physical AI, and healthcare.
About the Role:At Fynd Create, we are looking for a hunter-profile Business Development & Marketing Manager to build and scale our apparel export business across the UK and EU. This is a revenue-owning role: the mandate is to convert relationships into confirmed, seasonally-booked business with retailers, brands, in the region. The ideal candidate already carries a book of retailer relationships in the UK/EU and understands how to position South Asian manufacturing capability (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) against buyer expectations on price, quality, and speed.
What will you do at Fynd ?Business Development• Own and grow a pipeline of UK/EU retailers, brands, and private-label buyers, converting prospects into confirmed seasonal order books (booked business value, not just leads).
• Leverage existing retailer relationships to open doors quickly; this role is not built around cold-market entry from zero.
• Lead commercial negotiations on price, MOQs, payment terms, and seasonal calendars in line with company margin targets.
• Build and manage a rolling seasonal business plan (SS/AW/Holiday) with revenue targets by account and by country.
Market & Product Positioning• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product differentiation, cost structures, capability, and pricing benchmarks across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka manufacturing bases, and advise buyers accordingly.
• Stay current on fabric developments, seasonal trends, and category shifts (fast fashion, basics, sustainable lines) relevant to UK/EU retail.
• Apply a strong eye for product and merchandising detail when reviewing samples, tech packs, or line sheets presented to buyers.
• Work with design/merchandising teams to translate market trend intelligence into sellable line concepts.
Account & Relationship Management• Act as the primary relationship owner for allocated UK/EU accounts — pre-sales through seasonal order confirmation.
• Coordinate internally with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure buyer commitments are deliverable.
• Track account performance, seasonal booking value, and pipeline conversion; report against targets.

Some Specific Requirements: • Experience: 15 years plus in apparel/garment export sales, business development, or buying, with a track record of managing UK/EU retail or brand accounts.
• Relationships: Demonstrable, existing relationships with UK/EU retailers — this is a must-have, not a nice-to-have.
• Product Sense: Strong grasp of fabrics, seasonal trends, and garment categories; sharp attention to product detail.
• Commercial Acumen: Comfortable owning a revenue number, negotiating seasonal contracts, and forecasting booked business.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; comfortable travelling within the UK/EU region and to sourcing hubs.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business, or related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory
