Responsibilities:

• Manage localization and development of the Japan-facing trading platform, website, mobile applications, and related operational systems. 
 
• Lead project management and vendor control for quick deposit and bank API integrations, as well as eKYC/JPKI SDK implementation. 
 
• Define business requirements, coordinate specifications, track delivery, run UAT and production-readiness checks, and manage issue resolution. 
 
• Establish and maintain the system risk management framework based on Financial Services Agency expectations, including IT governance, change management, access controls, incident management, and evidence management. 
 
• Develop, maintain, and test BCP/DR procedures with local management, operations, compliance, vendors, and global technology teams
 
• Maintain internal IT infrastructure, including networks, security tools, endpoint and PC management, account administration, and support escalation processes. 
 
• Monitor cybersecurity and third-party technology risks, and support internal and external audit and regulatory inspection responses. 

Requirements:
• IT project management or system development experience in financial services such as securities, FX/CFD, or fintech (3+ years, or equivalent demonstrable capability). 
 
• Practical understanding of API integrations, SDK implementation, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or equivalent platforms. 
 
• Working knowledge of system risk management, cybersecurity, IT governance, change management, and operational resilience. 
 
• Experience managing external vendors and coordinating requirements and UAT across business, compliance, operations, and technology teams.
 
• Ability to document procedures, control evidence, and project materials for audits and regulatory reviews. 

Nice to have:

• Business-level English proficiency (to coordinate directly with overseas development teams and technical vendors).
 
• Project management qualifications such as PMP. 
 
• Experience with bank API or quick deposit integrations, eKYC/JPKI, trading platforms, mobile apps, or online brokerage systems.
 
• Experience with BCP/DR testing, incident response, vulnerability management, or cloud security controls.
Knowledge of Japanese financial services regulations or supervisory expectations for system risk.
