Keep the Linux systems behind Graphcore’s engineering and manufacturing work reliable, secure and ready for what comes next.
As a Linux and Manufacturing Support Engineer in Taipei, you’ll support the infrastructure our people depend on every day. You’ll solve problems directly, from support requests to complex Linux and network issues.
You’ll manage Debian and RedHat environments across bare metal and virtual machines. You’ll also maintain core services, including DNS, DHCP and NFS, while supporting on-premises servers and engineering workflows.
You’ll assess and deliver security patching, automate infrastructure changes through Infrastructure-as-Code, and keep technical knowledge clear and current. Your work will span hands-on support and deeper infrastructure challenges, giving you direct ownership of systems that matter.
With new projects ahead, you’ll have scope to improve how infrastructure is deployed, supported and maintained.
The team and culture
You’ll join a multidisciplinary Infrastructure Solutions team where people solve problems together and share technical knowledge openly. You’ll work closely with engineering teams while taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
The team moves from diagnosis to action quickly, using evidence and methodical troubleshooting to guide decisions. You’ll be encouraged to speak up, improve established approaches and document what others need to move faster.
What we’re looking for
· Strong Linux administration skills across Debian and RedHat derivatives, on bare metal and virtual machines
· A methodical approach to troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
· Strong system administration experience, including responsibility for core infrastructure services
· Experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Puppet, Ansible or similar, with Git version control
· Good networking knowledge, including VLANs, routing and subnetting
· Clear communication and customer service skills, with confidence supporting colleagues and engineering teams
