Job Description

Business Development Executive | Bokun

About Tripadvisor

The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing, and aims to be the world’s most trusted source for travel and experiences. We leverage our brands, technology, and capabilities to connect our global audience with partners through rich content, travel guidance, and two-sided marketplaces for experiences, accommodations, restaurants, and other travel categories. The subsidiaries of Tripadvisor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIP), include a portfolio of travel brands and businesses, including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork.

About Bokun:

Bókun, a Tripadvisor company, is the market-leading booking and channel management platform for the tours and activities industry. Thousands of Experience Operators around the world run their business on Bókun – from independent tour guides to multi-location attraction groups. We combine the reach and stability of a global leader with the speed and focus of a team that’s still building.

About The Role:

We’re creating a new Business Development Executive role to close the gap between how Experience Operators discover Bókun and how they grow with us. Today, customers either self-serve their way in or land with a dedicated Business Development Manager once they’re a Key Account. This role owns everything in between.

You’ll own, grow and retain a portfolio of accounts with real potential – nurturing them over time and helping them get more value from Bókun. Some will grow into Key Accounts. Others will make this tier their long-term home, and need consistent account management and retention through our touchpoint programme – both are equally part of the job. You’ll also go after new business beyond our self-serve ICP: the accounts that need a conversation, not just a sign-up form. And you’ll work alongside our Business Development Managers to help qualify new potential enterprise opportunities.

It’s a role built for someone who’s equally comfortable prospecting cold leads and nurturing warm opportunities – patient enough to play the long game with an account, and driven enough to go and win the next one. Wherever each account is headed, they deserve someone who takes real ownership of getting them there.

Job Location: Hybrid

This role is a hybrid position that requires 2/3 days per week/month in our London office.

What You'll Do:

•
Own, grow and retain a portfolio of accounts – driving growth toward Key Account status where the opportunity exists, and providing consistent account management and retention through our touchpoint programme for those that stay in this tier.

•
Win new business beyond our self-serve ICP – proactively identify, prospect and convert Experience Operators whose needs go beyond a self-serve sign-up.

•
Represent Bókun at industry events and trade shows, building pipeline and relationships through in-person prospecting.

•
Work alongside Business Development Managers to help qualify new potential enterprise opportunities – bringing research, discovery and relationship-building to deals as they take shape.

•
Run consultative discovery calls, demos and webinars that show Experience Operators the value of the Bókun platform.

•
Use Salesforce and sales data to track your pipeline, spot trends, and sharpen your approach to outreach, account growth and retention.

•
Consistently meet and exceed targets across new business acquisition, account growth and retention.

•

What You'll Bring to the Team:

•
3+ years of experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally in SaaS or B2B.

•
A track record that spans both sides of the job: winning new business and growing existing accounts.

•
Comfort working in a role that’s still being defined – you’ll help build the playbook, not just follow one.

•
Confident, consultative communication skills – on the phone, on a webinar, or on a trade show floor.

•
Highly organised, with the ability to juggle a large and varied portfolio – staying on top of many accounts at once and adapting quickly as priorities change.

•
Meticulous CRM discipline – you keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, and use data to guide decisions and track your own performance.

•
Willingness to travel for industry events and in-person prospecting.

•
Self-motivation, resilience and genuine curiosity about what makes growing travel businesses tick.

•
Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more additional European languages (e.g. Spanish, Italian, German) is highly desirable.
