Job Description

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.

As a leader in micromobility, Lyft powers millions of rides daily across over 200 cities with our cutting-edge ride-sharing, bike-sharing, and scooter-sharing technologies. Today, our pioneering micromobility system is operational in more than 50 cities worldwide, including Barcelona, Bogota, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, and Rio de Janeiro, to name just a few. Join us and be part of the team behind some of the world's largest and most successful bike-share systems!

Lyft's team in Montreal is growing, and we are seeking an Asset Planning Analyst to support spare parts planning and allocation for every micromobility market Lyft operates. You will make sure the right repair parts reach the right markets at the right time, so bikes and scooters stay on the street and riders can count on them.

You are an analytical thinker who is excited about building scalable processes. You build forecasts that hold up to scrutiny, then turn them into long term solutions that work on the ground. You will work in a fast paced environment alongside local operations teams, supply planners, and other cross-functional stakeholders. You are as comfortable building the model as you are aligning a room of market leaders on it.

Responsibilities:

• Own demand forecasting, inventory management, optimization, and allocation for Lyft's current and future spare parts. Build models others can audit: documented assumptions, clear inputs and outputs, and tracked changes between versions.

• Run high visibility processes and frameworks that keep leadership and market teams aligned on spares needs.

• Partner with local market teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to continuously improve spares demand planning processes and dashboards.

• Leverage data to recommend hardware and operations initiatives, such as component upgrades, tooling improvements, incentive programs, or performance management frameworks.

• Lead special projects as needed.

• Limited travel to markets, warehouses, and vendors as required.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy and operations, supply chain, transit, planning, analytics, or a related field.

• Excellent quantitative and financial acumen.

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills are a must. SQL is a plus.

• Experience with supplier or vendor management is a plus.

• Outstanding written and verbal communicator who tailors the message and medium to the audience, and partners well up, down, and across the organization.

• Strong sense of ownership. You are excited about process optimization and continuous improvement.

• Ability to clarify complexity by blending vision and detail.

• Proactive and hands on when working through uncertainty.

• Curious and quick to learn new concepts spanning operations, supply chain, product, engineering, design, city partnerships, and beyond.

Benefits:

• Extended health and dental coverage options, along with life insurance and disability benefits

• Mental health benefits

• Family building benefits

• Pet benefits

• Access to a Lyft funded Health Care Savings Account

• RRSP plan with company match to help save for your future

• In addition to provincial observed holidays, salaried team members are covered under Lyft's flexible paid time off policy. The policy allows team members to take off as much time as they need (with manager approval). Hourly team members get 15 days paid time off, with an additional day for each year of service

• Lyft is proud to support new parents with 18 weeks of paid time off, designed as a top-up plan to complement provincial programs. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible.

• Subsidized commuter benefits and Lyft ride credits
