Job Summary
Location: Bangalore, KarnatakaExperience: 3+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeWork Mode: Work from OfficeWe are looking for a CAD Engineer with hands-on experience in starter motor design and development to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation
• Work on starter motor components such as Armature, Housing, Yoke, Brush Holder, Planetary Gear Assemblies and Solenoid Parts
• Support prototype development, validation builds and drawing modifications based on test feedback
• Follow engineering change management and product development processes
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in CAD design and detailing
• Experience in Automotive Starter Motors, Alternators or Electromechanical Products preferred
• Strong proficiency in Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX
• Knowledge of PLM Windchill and CATIA
• Good understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings and tolerance stack-up
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Sheet Metal, Machining, Die Casting and Assembly
• Understanding of automotive product development and engineering change management
