2027 Spring Logistics / Packaging Engineering Co-op / LOM

This role is designed for an individual eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world production challenges, directly impacting the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of our inbound and outbound packaged products.

Hands-on experience awaits you in:

• Production Line Optimization & Support:• Actively participate in troubleshooting packaging-related issues during production
• Support packaging line trials for new materials, designs, or equipment, collecting data and providing feedback

• Material Evaluation & Application:• Assist in the practical evaluation of new packaging materials and components for their suitability and performance on existing manufacturing equipment
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to assess material specifications against production requirements and operational capabilities
• Contribute to the selection of packaging materials that balance performance, cost, and environmental impact within a high-volume manufacturing setting

• Process Improvement & Waste Reduction:• Identify and propose practical solutions to reduce packaging material waste, scrap, and rework on the production floor
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives focused on improving packaging processes

• Technical Documentation & Standards:• Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating packaging specifications
• Maintain accurate records of packaging tests, line trials, and material performance data

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:• Collaborate closely with production operators, maintenance technicians, quality control, supply chain, and R&D; teams to implement packaging solutions.
• Actively participate in daily production meetings, sharing observations and contributing to problem-solving discussions.
