Manufacturing Planner
Job Description
Summary: The Manufacturing Planner supports Manufacturing Engineers creating the work instructions and allocation of parts / material to production departments (engineering drawings, process specifications, sales orders, and change notices) for the fabrication process and assembly of the finished part. The Manufacturing Engineering Director or designee will define specific responsibilities for each Manufacturing Planner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
• Responsible for the accuracy of the work instructions as directed by a Manufacturing Engineer.• Compliance with customer/product procurement specifications.
• Ensure that all engineering changes are implemented.
• Validate that the manufacturing process meets all customer and internal requirements.
• Apply operation time standards as required.
• Responsible for clear and concise work instructions of detail parts, sub-assemblies, and top assemblies.
• Will assist with projects / planning of machining, forming, stamping, heat treating, and chemical processing of the following materials:• Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum & Stainless Steel
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
• Other duties with the work as assigned.
