Infrastructure Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Consultant to work in a hybrid environment with one of our public sector clients.
You will be responsible for the administration, support, maintenance and continuous improvement of the organisation's Windows Server environment and associated infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring availability, performance, security and reliability while contributing to infrastructure improvements, incident resolution and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer enterprise Windows Server environments across physical and virtual platforms.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Intune and associated Microsoft technologies.
• Manage patching, upgrades and security remediation activities.
• Work with security and vulnerability management teams to address CVEs and security threats.
• Investigate and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 incidents.
• Support infrastructure projects, migration activities and platform upgrades.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
• Produce technical documentation, standards and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams.
