Senior Equipment Engineer
Job Description
• Responsible for equipment troubleshooting, installation, qualification, modification, automation, and continuous improvement to ensure stable, reliable, and efficient equipment performance.
• Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, software, AI, and automation solutions to enhance process equipment capability and automation tooling performance.
• Develop maintenance procedures, technical documentation, safety standards, and technician training, while supporting equipment projects, equipment characterization, and manufacturing capability development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support equipment troubleshooting, installation, qualification, modification, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement equipment automation and upgrades, using AI and the latest automation technologies to improve equipment stability, performance, and productivity.
• Prepare electrical drawings, wiring layouts, software debugging, and control systems for cleaning equipment.
• Integrate different equipment modules and systems to ensure stable and reliable operation.
• Design, modify, and assemble mechanical and electrical components to improve equipment performance for square glass, chemical etch, and cleaning processes.
• Develop maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing procedures for electrical and electronic components.
• Perform equipment characterization and capability studies to ensure equipment meets safety standards and requirements.
• Support equipment design, modification, expansion, and automation projects.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, safety procedures, environmental requirements, and HIRAC documentation.
• Provide technical and safety training and establish safety guidelines for technicians.
• Work closely with process, manufacturing, automation teams, and suppliers to identify problems, develop solutions, and drive equipment improvements.
