Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software, Automation & Equipment Engineering

• Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and support PLC/HMI and equipment software for manufacturing equipment and automation projects.
• Lead software projects from requirements definition through development, validation, production deployment, and technical handover, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.
• Develop reliable, maintainable, scalable, and standardized software solutions using software engineering best practices, reusable components, technical documentation, and revision control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and equipment suppliers to define requirements, integrate systems, assess technical risks, and implement effective solutions.
• Review software designs and control logic, provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer, and support complex software and control-system issues when required.
Smart Manufacturing, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement innovative solutions using automation, data analytics, IoT, AI/ML, Computer Vision and digital technologies, including proof-of-concept solutions, equipment data collection, monitoring, dashboards, predictive quality, and smart maintenance applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, yield, productivity, cycle time, OEE, equipment availability, downtime, labor efficiency, and operational efficiency.
• Validate results, apply structured problem-solving methods, standardize successful solutions for replication, and scale them across applicable equipment and production lines.
