NPI Engineer
Job Description
As an NPI Engineer based in Taipei, Taiwan, you will be part of Axiado's Hardware Engineering team, responsible for taking hardware products from the design stage through to volume manufacturing. You will work closely with design engineers, the manufacturing team, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure that test flows are properly introduced, products are released to manufacturing smoothly, and products are supported through and beyond the production ramp.
Responsibilities
• Own New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, taking products from the design stage through volume manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary interface between design engineers, contract manufacturers, and operations teams.
• Review and understand engineering designs well enough to guide manufacturability and test decisions.
• Evaluate and recommend part replacements, and help manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Drive and support development and execution of manufacturing test processes.
• Maintain accurate product data and documentation within PLM systems.
