Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and versatile Admin and Sponsorship Account Executive to join our EMEA Partnerships team at Riot Games.

In this role, you will support the management and delivery of partnerships across the LEC and VCT EMEA, while also owning key administrative and operational responsibilities that enable the Partnerships team to work efficiently and deliver best-in-class experiences for our partners.

The role combines day-to-day sponsorship servicing, rights fulfillment and event support with contract administration, financial processes, reporting and management of internal tools and workflows.

This will be a 12 month contract role and is based in Berlin, Germany, and requires the candidate to be located in Berlin. While we operate under a hybrid working model and daily office attendance is not mandatory, being based in Berlin is essential for effective collaboration, attending on-site meetings and managing in-person responsibilities as needed.

The Team

You will be within the Berlin-based EMEA Partnerships team, reporting directly to the EMEA Head of Partnerships.

You will work closely with Account Managers and collaborate with teams across Riot, including Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, Broadcast, Events, Competitive Operations and Publishing, as well as external agencies and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of assigned LEC and VCT EMEA sponsor relationships, including partner onboarding, regular communication and coordination of partnership activities.

• Coordinate the delivery and tracking of contractual sponsorship rights across broadcast, digital, social, events and other relevant channels.

• Work closely with internal Riot teams, agencies and partners to execute sponsorship campaigns and activations, manage approval processes and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

• Support onsite sponsor activations, hospitality and partner experiences at LEC and VCT events and roadshows across EMEA.

• Coordinate partner-related content, social media activities, giveaways, digital items and other partnership deliverables.

• Support partnership reporting, media valuation and proof of execution, helping evaluate performance and identify opportunities to enhance existing partnerships.

• Manage key contract, procurement and financial administration, including contract tracking, purchase orders, vendor onboarding and invoice processing.

• Maintain sponsorship inventories, deliverables and relevant Airtable databases and project-management tools, ensuring information remains accurate and accessible.

• Develop and improve internal processes, templates and workflows to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Partnerships team.

• Support additional operational and administrative needs of the EMEA Partnerships team as required.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in sponsorship account management, project coordination, partnership operations or a similar role, ideally within sports, esports, entertainment or an agency environment.

• Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of esports (ideally Riot Games’ games), sports sponsorship or the broader entertainment ecosystem.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; German and additional languages are a plus.

• Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.

• Project Management: Comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams across internal teams, external agencies, suppliers and partners.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; familiarity with Airtable and procurement/project-management tools is an advantage.

• Personal Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, solution-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Travel: Willing and able to travel within EMEA to support live esports events and partner activations.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players; experiences, this could be your role!

At Riot Games, we put players first. That mission drives every decision in our quest to create games and experiences that make it better to be a player. Whether you’re working directly on a new player-facing experience or you’re supporting the company as a whole, everyone at Riot is part of our mission. And just like in our games, we’re better when we work together. Our goal is to create collaborative teams where you are empowered to bring your unique perspective everyday. If that sounds like the kind of place you want to work, we’re looking forward to your application.
