Requirements
• Experience : 11+ years
• Relevant experience in Solution Architecture or a closely related architecture role.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and architecting microservices-based applications.
• Proven experience designing and architecting at least 3 large-scale, secure, resilient, API-driven applications.
• Strong expertise in High-Level Design (HLD), enterprise architecture patterns, and scalable solution design.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, distributed systems, microservices, integration patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong experience defining architecture standards, best practices, technical guidelines, and reusable solution blueprints.
• Proven experience working within Agile squads/tribes and collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
• Strong Banking Domain experience, with exposure to areas such as Banking, Wealth Management, Lending, Asset Management, and Accounting.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure application architecture.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, GDPR, and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of security architecture concepts and secure-by-design practices.
• Exposure to offensive and defensive security concepts is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor architects and engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make architecture decisions in complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, MCP, and AI Agents is desirable.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code is an advantage.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies and translating them into practical enterprise solutions is desirable.
• Security Architect experience or exposure is an added advantag.
Responsibilities
• Define and own solution architecture for large-scale, secure, resilient, and API-driven enterprise applications.
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Lead High-Level Design (HLD), architecture definition, technology selection, and solution design activities.
• Define architecture patterns, technical standards, best practices, reusable components, and architecture blueprints.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, availability, resilience, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead architecture discussions across product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Collaborate with Agile squads and tribes to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Review solution designs and provide architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure architecture and solutions comply with cybersecurity requirements, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and applicable UAE regulatory requirements.
• Identify architectural risks, technical dependencies, security gaps, and scalability challenges and define appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with security teams to incorporate secure-by-design principles and appropriate security controls.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, senior engineers, and development teams.
• Manage senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts and architecture decisions effectively.
• Drive adoption of reusable architecture patterns and engineering best practices across projects and teams.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives involving APIs, microservices, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their suitability for enterprise adoption.
• Explore and support AI/GenAI use cases involving LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, MCP, and AI Agents.
• Evaluate developer productivity and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
• Apply understanding of offensive and defensive security concepts when designing and reviewing enterprise solutions.
• Provide architectural support during implementation, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
