Job Description

1. Project Planning & Organization:
Ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously, create realistic timelines, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure all milestones are met.
2. Stakeholder & Client Management:
Building strong relationships with clients, understanding business objectives, managing expectations, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Survey Methodology Knowledge:
Understanding questionnaire design, sampling methodologies, quotas, routing logic, and research best practices.
4. Data Quality Management:
Ability to recognize risks related to fraud, poor-quality responses, quota imbalances, and data inconsistencies.
5. Budget & Financial Management:
Managing project profitability, supplier costs, panel expenses, incentives, and change requests.
6. Risk Management & Problem Solving:
Quickly identifying and resolving issues such as low incidence rates, slow fieldwork progress, quota challenges, or supplier delays.
7. Analytical Thinking:
Understanding data outputs, interpreting project metrics, challenging assumptions, and making evidence-based decisions.
8. Vendor & Fieldwork Management:
Managing panel providers, sample partners, translation agencies, scripting teams, and data processing vendors.
9. Attention to Detail:
Reviewing questionnaires, quotas, survey links, translations, data tables, and client deliverables with precision.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
1. Project Ownership
• Take full ownership of assigned research projects from kickoff to delivery.
• Develop and manage project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Escalate risks and issues when necessary.
2. Client Management
• Act as the primary contact for clients during project execution.
• Provide project updates and status reports.
• Manage client expectations.
• Handle scope changes and project-related queries.
3. Survey Setup & Launch
• Review questionnaires before programming.
• Ensure quotas, sampling requirements, and methodology are correctly implemented.
• Coordinate translations
• Testing the survey link
• Approve survey launch readiness.
4. Fieldwork Management
• Monitor data collection performance.
• Track completes, incidence rate, quotas, and response quality.
• Make recommendations to improve fieldwork performance.
• Ensure project targets are achieved.
5. Supplier & Vendor Management
• Liaise with panel providers and external vendors.
• Obtain feasibility estimates and sample costs.
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Resolve sample and fieldwork issues.
6. Data Quality Control
• Conduct quality checks throughout fieldwork.
• Identify fraudulent or poor-quality respondents.
• Review quota fulfillment and sample balance.
• Ensure client data quality standards are met.
7. Financial Management
• Create project cost estimates.
• Monitor project profitability.
• Manage supplier invoices and purchase orders.
• Ensure projects remain within budget.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
o Sales teams
o Research managers
o Scripting/programming teams
o Data processing teams
o Finance teams
o Suppliers
9. Continuous Improvement
• Identify process improvements.
• Share best practices.
• Support training and mentoring of junior team members.
• Contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
