Sr. Associate, LMS Strategic Finance

The LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) GTM Strategic Finance team is searching for a strategic and results-driven Senior Associate, Strategic Finance to join our team. This person will support sales segments across LMS, partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide strategic and financial insights that help shape the growth and performance of LinkedIn’s advertising business.
This role spans both strategic initiatives and core finance responsibilities, including high-visibility strategic projects with GTM leadership, outlook and forecasting, and P&L; management. The Senior Associate will work across multiple priorities and sales segments, using data and financial analysis to identify trends, evaluate opportunities and risks, and support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking, financial and analytical capabilities, structured communication, and the ability to operate across multiple priorities. This candidate will demonstrate curiosity, quick learning, a bias for action, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across LMS.
Responsibilities
Strategic Thinking
• Identifies opportunities for growth and performance improvement within assigned sales segments and supports strategy development with business partners.
• Validates and pressure tests growth opportunities, risks, and business assumptions through financial and strategic analysis.
Stakeholder Influence
• Communicates implications of forecasts, financial performance, analyses, and trends to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
• Leverages insights and data to develop narratives and a point of view that support decision-making and influence stakeholders with limited guidance.
Execution & Organization
• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple LMS sales segments to drive business priorities by setting strategic direction, identifying measures of success, and providing financial perspectives, with minimal supervision.
• Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support.
Performance Management
• Supports performance management, outlook, target setting, and forecasting across assigned LMS sales segments, including expense, budget, and P&L; management.
• Creates and maintains financial models and synthesizes data from multiple sources to assess business performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Executes ad hoc analyses to address ambiguous or complex business questions, develop and test hypotheses, and derive actionable insights.
• Leverages AI tools to improve & streamline existing processes
