Job Description

*This is a Remote field-based position. Candidates from alternative cities are encouraged to apply but should live in close proximity to a large airport hub.

Remote – Precision Oncology Director. The Precision Oncology Director (POD) is a front-line field sales leadership role accountable for building, developing and leading a high-performing field-based sales team, providing strategic direction in adherence with corporate direction and managing all operations related to the sales force. Reporting to EVERSANA leadership and the Client’s Vice President of Commercial Development, the POD will participate in the development of strategic and tactical plans pre-launch and then execute those plans upon approval. In this highly collaborative role, the POD will work cross-functionally with Market Access (NAMs), Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Medical Science Liaison teams to drive the strategy and sales for the Client’s brand, including hiring, training and development, resource planning and allocation, and overall performance management of the sales force.

The Precision Oncology Director will need to understand key business drivers across the nation and coach the Sales Representatives to complete account and targeted HCP calls including oncology nurses, pharmacists, physicians and support staff to increase awareness and appropriate use of the product in patients with FGFR2-Altered cholangiocarcinoma.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for day-to-day management including hiring, training, and motivating a team of Precision Account Managers to achieve or exceed sales objectives with appropriate patients in the US.
• Conduct regular field visits and business reviews with the Precision Account Managers to ensure that proper programs and messages are being utilized and commitments are met.
• Create, build, and maintain relationships and regular communication with academic medical centers, cancer institutions, physicians, account influencers and key thought leaders in the US.
• Oversee management of key accounts, including developing robust account plans prior to launch and quickly transition to effective sales execution post-launch. Ensure a high level of expertise and customer service is delivered to all customers.
• Expert knowledge of oral specialty pharmacy fulfillment within accounts, organized customers and systems of care, and HUB capabilities.
• Ensure cooperative and collaborative communication and execution between business partners from field, medical, strategic accounts, MSLs, Market Access, Sales Operations, and Marketing.
• Responsible for collaborating effectively and mobilizing all appropriate resources toward superior customer support and appropriate patient journey support.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
• Strategic Thinking in Oncology: Implement strategic plans specific to the brand. This includes understanding the unique challenges and opportunities, as well as the ability to train and coach appropriate sales messaging, territory planning/execution and appropriate patient pull through leading to high performing results.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills of the brand’s scientific information to healthcare professionals, oncologists, and other key stakeholders.
• Adaptability to Oncology Advances: Stay abreast of the latest clinical/disease state/business environment developments in oncology to effectively engage with key accounts and coach team members. Collaborate with and provide relevant insights to marketing, sales leadership, and other key internal partners on local market needs around disease awareness, diagnosis, treatment education, tools, and product messaging.
• Molecular Testing: Support team understanding of comprehensive molecular profiling for all patients diagnosed with unresectable, advanced, or metastatic biliary tract cancers.
