Sensor System Architect for Passive Safety
Job Description
Vehicle Motion department (VM) develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety and vehicle dynamics. Active safety systems recognize hazardous driving situations and guide the vehicle dynamics in a targeted manner to restore the stability of the vehicle. If an accident is unavoidable, passive safety systems provide protection for vehicle occupants as well as pedestrians and reduce the risk of injury.
Sensor System Architect ensures the implementation of acceleration-, and gyro sensors and provide vehicle inertial movement data for Airbag, Vehicle Stabilization and Autonomous Driving functions.
Your tasks:
► Analysis of customer requirements
► Design and architect sensor systems for Airbag ECU
► Collaborate with cross-functional international teams, including engineering, product management, and testing, to define sensor requirements and specifications
► Cooperation in mechanic design
► Definition and evaluation of vibration and system tests
► Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sensor technologies and passive safety systems
► Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders.
