Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week).
• Responsible for evaluation, preparation, and completion of new and legacy product agency approval according to applicable UL, CSA, IEC, or other agency requirements.
• Performs product certification activities with third-party certification agencies through either external testing lab or the internal Approvals Lab.
• Contributes to internal lab’s acceptance and documentation for new and legacy products for submission under Data Acceptance Programs of UL and CSA.
• Analyzes current test procedures for internal lab tests. Maintains project databases and certification records. Contributes to drafting and reviewing of product technical documents such as user manuals/labels. Aligns with project deadlines and collaborates with product teams.
• Supports regulatory compliance and product risk assessment activities.
• Serves as proxy and backup market entry gatekeeper for US and Canadian launch project approval.
