About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS Serverless technologies, TypeScript/Node.js, Python, GraphQL, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services while ensuring security, reliability, and performance across distributed cloud environments.
This role requires hands-on experience with modern AWS services, identity federation, API development, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Key Responsibilities
• 7+ years of experience into Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and manage serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, and DynamoDB.
• Develop secure and performant GraphQL APIs using AWS AppSync.
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions using AWS Cognito and SAML 2.0 Federation.
• Create and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using AWS CodeCatalyst and DevOps best practices.
• Implement security controls utilizing IAM, WAF, KMS, and other AWS security services.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch.
• Develop event-driven and workflow-based architectures using AWS services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams working with React-based applications to define API contracts and data models.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices and standards.
