Your Role at a Glance:
As the Global Category Buyer for Film Capacitor, you will take full commercial ownership of a global category, shape supplier strategies across Bosch's worldwide network, and drive value from early sourcing through post-SOP performance. This is a role with real scope — you will influence decisions across regions, functions, and the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Global Category Buyer for Film Capacitor, owning all commercially relevant topics
• Develop and implement global category and supplier strategies within the assigned category
• Lead annual price and contract negotiations, and maintain related systems
• Manage new project sourcing from a commercial perspective
• Collaborate with Bosch Engineering, Quality, and Project Purchasing teams on new project sourcing (RB acquisition phase to supplier final award) and post-SOP VAVE activities
• Support Bosch plants worldwide on supplier quality, cost claims, and logistics escalation
• Conduct market scouting, new supplier development, and supplier enablement
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
