Requirements
• Experience : 9 + years
• Extensive experience in solution and cloud architecture, with expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of GCP services, including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and API Gateway.
• Strong Python programming and backend solution design capabilities.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, including entity relationships, data structures, business rules, and calculation-engine design.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API architecture, and bi-directional data integration.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs, including interface contracts, error handling, security, and performance considerations.
• Experience with frontend architecture using React, AG Grid, or similar grid-based application frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, Azure Active Directory, SSO, and enterprise identity and access management integration patterns.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to establish CI/CD pipelines, engineering standards, and structured code review practices.
• Experience reviewing and validating AI- or Copilot-generated code within a specification-driven development approach.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and lead defect resolution during SIT and other testing phases.
• Strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience migrating legacy Excel, VBA, or Power Apps solutions to cloud-native platforms is an advantage.
• Exposure to BTDP integration, BigQuery reporting architecture, and GitHub Copilot development practices is desirable.
Responsibilities
• Define and lead the target technical architecture for replacing the legacy Excel and Power Apps stack with a scalable, cloud-native solution on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design cloud architecture using GCP services, including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and API Gateway.
• Establish the overall solution architecture, technical standards, design principles, and implementation roadmap aligned with business and functional requirements.
• Design and implement robust data models, including entities, relationships, calculation hierarchies, and business logic, to replace scattered Excel-based data structures.
• Define integration patterns and API architecture to enable seamless communication between frontend applications, backend services, and enterprise systems.
• Drive frontend architecture decisions for grid-first applications using React, AG Grid, or similar frameworks.
• Design and oversee bi-directional BTDP integration, ensuring reliable data exchange and consistency across systems.
• Define secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Active Directory, and single sign-on (SSO) integration.
• Lead backend architecture and development practices using Python, ensuring scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
• Establish API design standards using REST and GraphQL, along with appropriate error handling, validation, and security controls.
• Review AI- and Copilot-generated code to ensure correctness, maintainability, security, and compliance with specifications and architectural standards.
• Define and enforce spec-driven development practices, code review guidelines, CI/CD pipeline design, and engineering quality standards.
• Lead the identification and resolution of integration defects during System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and other architects to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure architecture decisions support future scalability, reporting requirements, operational efficiency, and cloud-native best practices.
