Machine Learning Engineer | SDE - 1

Role Overview:As an ML Engineer SDE-1, you will help build and improve deep learning solutions that power intelligent product experiences and business decisions. You will work closely with engineering teams to develop, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models, with a strong focus on PyTorch-based development and production-grade software engineering.
What will you do at Fynd?• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models using PyTorch
• Collaborate with software engineers and data teams to translate business problems into ML solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code for model training, inference, and experimentation
• Assist in preparing, validating, and preprocessing data for model development
• Support model deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement in production environments
• Analyze model performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to improve accuracy and reliability
• Document experiments, model behavior, and technical findings for internal stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging machine learning techniques and apply best practices to ongoing work

Some specific requirements• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning development
• Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch
• Proficiency in Python and production-grade software development
• Understanding of model training, validation, and deployment workflows
Good to have• Experience building scalable ML systems in a production environment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized deployment
• Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices
• Experience with GPU-based training and optimization
• Exposure to natural language processing, computer vision, or recommendation systems
