Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer or above – EDA to architect, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions BackEnd for Digital and Analog Designs done in the company. This role is part of the global EDA team.
• Propose, Architect, Develop and Successfully deploy AI/ML/GenAI solutions in Chip Design domain across Renesas’s portfolio. Be proficient in developing and deploying AI solutions and EDA tools with keen eye on end-user experience metric.
• Own some part of the overall CAD solution and be responsible for WW engagement with customers.
• Good understanding of Digital Implementation and Signoff Methodologies for MCU and HPC type of designs.
• Hands-on in development & debug of AI/ML Technologies and with industry leading EDA tools in Digital/Analog Designs
• Proactively engage with customers through regular follow-ups, in feature engineering, model development, demonstrate incremental and sufficient PPA, Productivity impact in chip design process.
• Hands-on in mature software development practices, leading programming languages for AI/ML development tasks
• Expected to work in a dynamic design environment
• Prior collaboration with offshore/outsourcing partners and vendor escalation management
