Risk Analyst – Data Science & Analytics

We are looking for a Risk Analyst – Data Science & Analytics to join our Analytics Product & Innovation team. In this hands-on role, you will leverage bureau data, advanced analytics, and machine learning to build and enhance data-driven products. You'll work across the model development lifecycle, from use-case exploration and prototyping to validation, UAT, and productisation. We're seeking a strong problem-solver with excellent analytics and coding skills who enjoys turning data into scalable solutions that deliver client impact.

What you'll do

• Analyze large and complex bureau and financial services datasets to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and support the development of innovative analytics products.
• Translate business challenges and product ideas into structured analytical solutions, including prototyping, feature engineering, model development, and measurable success criteria.
• Develop, validate, and benchmark statistical and machine learning models, scores, segmentations, and decision-support solutions, ensuring strong predictive performance and business relevance.
• Build scalable and reusable analytical assets, including efficient Python/SQL code, automated workflows, and repeatable frameworks that accelerate product development.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and business teams to define analytical requirements, support UAT, investigate issues, and drive successful productisation of new capabilities.
• Clearly communicate methodologies, insights, and business value through robust documentation while adhering to data security, model governance, compliance, and best-practice analytics standards.
