Development Engineer - Acoustic (f/m/div.)

Your contribution to something big:

You will contribute to an industrial research project focused on the acoustic development and optimization of heat pump systems. You will combine acoustic testing, experimental measurements, and data analysis to evaluate the performance of appliances and components and support the development of improved acoustic solutions for heat pump applications. Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Acoustic Testing: Develop and execute acoustic tests on heat pump appliances and components to evaluate their performance and correct functioning. 

• Acoustic Measurements & Data Acquisition: Prepare experimental setups, perform acoustic measurements, and collect high-quality data to support technical analysis and development activities. 

• Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret acoustic test results, identify relevant behaviours and trends, and translate findings into clear technical conclusions. 

• Technical Studies & Documentation: Prepare technical studies, test reports, and documentation based on experimental results to support engineering decisions and product development. 

• Acoustic Performance Assessment: Evaluate the influence of new methods, materials, and design solutions on the acoustic performance of heat pump systems. 

• Appliance & Component Validation: Support the validation of developed appliances and components from an acoustic performance perspective through structured testing and analysis. 

• Test Execution: Conduct testing activities according to defined guidelines, internal rules, procedures, and test methodologies. 

• Acoustic Optimization: Contribute to the improvement of heat pump acoustic behaviour by identifying potential areas for optimization based on experimental testing and analysis.
