Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. But that’s just the start. Achieving commercial success with Terran R will unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation, pioneering progress that reaches beyond the known.

Joining Relativity means becoming part of something where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. Here, you're not just executing tasks; you're solving problems that haven’t been solved before, helping develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up. Whether you’re in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or a corporate function, you’ll collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time. Relativity is a place where creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we’re writing together. The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

About the Team:

The Supply Chain team turns design intent into executable reality, balancing lead time, cost, complexity, and manufacturability to ensure we can build and scale Terran R. On this team, you're not just placing orders; you're actively shaping the solution. With full ownership across raw materials, capital equipment, and services, the role requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. As the company scales, supply chain becomes increasingly central, working closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and more to make decisions that work for today but also for tomorrow. This is a team for those who want to operate at the intersection of technical ambition and business execution, driving tangible progress to keep the Terran R program on track.

About the Role:

As Manager of Indirect Supply Chain, you will lead a team of procurement professionals and own roughly $200M in annual indirect spend across categories such as IT and software, professional and consulting services, facilities, HR, and contingent labor. You will set category strategy, coach your team, run and oversee competitive sourcing events, directly manage high-value RFPs, and partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver cost, quality, and service performance. This role blends people leadership with hands-on category ownership and offers a clear path to broader supply chain leadership.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals (category managers, sourcing specialists), setting priorities, building capability, and creating a culture of accountability and collaboration

• Own a large, complex indirect portfolio, accountable for total cost, savings, supplier performance, and service across categories

• Develop and execute category strategies that balance cost, quality, service, and speed

• Lead and oversee competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels on high-value agreements

• Own supplier relationships and performance for indirect categories, holding suppliers accountable for cost, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement

• Partner with internal stakeholders — Finance, IT, Facilities, HR, Legal, and department budget owners — to understand requirements, align on priorities, and translate them into sourcing outcomes

• Establish and track KPIs (savings, cost avoidance, spend under management, cycle time, supplier performance) and use the data to drive continuous improvement

• Support improvements to procurement systems and processes (ERP, P2P/S2P, e-sourcing, contract lifecycle management) to increase efficiency and enable data-driven decisions

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, spend controls, and approval workflows, and contribute to supplier risk management and business continuity for critical indirect suppliers

• Promote sustainability, supplier diversity, and responsible sourcing practices within your categories

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

• 6+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with a focus on indirect categories preferred

• 2+ years leading or developing a team, with a track record of building and mentoring people

• Experience managing a sizable indirect portfolio (spend of comparable scale) with demonstrated cost savings

• Demonstrated success running sourcing events and negotiating high-value supplier contracts

• Working knowledge of multiple indirect categories (e.g., IT/software, professional services, facilities, contingent labor)

• Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba) and P2P/S2P processes

• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence without authority

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Nice to haves but not required:

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CPSD, or CIPS

• Master’s degree or MBA

• Deep category expertise in one or more high-value indirect areas

• Experience in a complex manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, automotive, or frontier technology)
