<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><br><strong>Accounts Payable & Payments:</strong><br><br>Manage end-to-end vendor payment processing, including NEFT/RTGS/IMPS<br>and other approved payment modes.<br>Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices after verifying approvals,<br>contracts, and supporting documents.<br>Handle high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.<br><br><strong>Accounting, Accruals & Provisions:</strong><br><br>Pass accurate accounting entries for vendor invoices, advances, accruals,<br>and provisions.<br>Prepare and book monthly accruals and provisions for expenses incurred but<br>not invoiced.<br>Ensure proper reversal and true-up of accruals and provisions in subsequent<br>periods.<br>Maintain accurate expense recognition in line with accounting standards.<br><br><strong>Vendor Reconciliation & Ageing:</strong><br><br>Maintain vendor ageing and ensure timely clearance of open items.<br>Perform vendor ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.<br>Handle vendor queries related to payments, balances, and reconciliations.<br><br><strong>Compliance & Controls:</strong><br><br>Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory<br>requirements.<br>Support internal and external audits by providing necessary AP schedules<br>and documentation.<br>Adhere to internal controls, SOPs, and approval matrices.<br><br><strong>Month-end & Reporting:</strong><br><br>Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP.<br>Prepare AP-related reports including vendor ageing, accrual summaries, and<br>payment trackers.<br>Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, business, treasury) for<br>closure of open items.<br><br><strong>Process Improvement & Team Support:</strong><br><br>Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for AP efficiency and<br>controls.<br>Support junior team members and act as a point of escalation when required.<br><br><br><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong><br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance<br>CA Inter / MBA (Finance) – preferred<br>3–4 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and accounting<br>operations.<br>Strong understanding of accounting entries, accruals, provisions, and vendor<br>ageing.<br>Experience working on ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, etc.)<br>Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel.<br><br><strong>Key Skills:</strong><br><br>Strong accounting fundamentals<br>Vendor and stakeholder management<br>Attention to detail and accuracy<br>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines<br>Good communication and coordination skills</p>
