Job Description
EM (Clinic/Op, Hospital (Inpatient/Observation), CCM, TCM, Critical care & Behavioral Health Coder.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of E/M Coding Guidelines
• Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding
• Knowledge of telehealth coding, POS guidelines, and modifiers
• Familiarity with payer-specific coding and billing guidelines
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience reviewing and interpreting physician documentation
• Hands-on experience in coding-related denials resolution
• Knowledge of psychotherapy, psychiatry, and behavioral health coding along with EM.
Certification Requirements
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or
• CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
