Embedded Systems Hardware Engineer
Job Description
Job Title - Embedded Systems Hardware Engineer Key Responsibilities:-
• Design and develop embedded hardware including schematics and PCB layouts
• Select electronic components (MCUs, sensors, power ICs, memory, interfaces) based on performance, cost, and availability
• Develop and review multi-layer PCB designs considering signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI requirements
• Perform board bring-up, testing, and debugging of prototype hardware
• Design and validate power supply circuits, clocking, and reset architectures
• Conduct hardware validation, verification, and reliability testing
• Create and maintain hardware documentation, BOMs, and design files
Required Skills & Qualifications:-
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or Diploma in any Electronics course.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design
• Experience with microcontrollers and processors (ARM, AVR, PIC, ESP32, etc.)
• Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Eagle, etc.)
• Experience using lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, power analyzer)
• Understanding of communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and reference designs
