DB - Support Lead – SME

Responsibilities:  Architect, design, and develop robust tools for database management, monitoring, and analysis.  Conduct and oversee code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and identification of potential issues or improvements.  Optimize tools for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring they meet the demands.  Ensure seamless integration of tools with existing systems, development environments, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.  Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API references for the developed tools and interfaces.  Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in database tools development, incorporating new approaches to enhance tool capabilities.  Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tools, and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness in development.  Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.  Develop and execute the development strategy, aligning it with overall product development objectives and organizational goals. Qualifications:  Strong background and deep expertise in C and C++ programming languages.  Experience in designing and optimizing database architectures, tools, and interfaces for performance, scalability, and reliability.  Proven experience in leading a team of developers and conducting code reviews.  Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation. Preferred Skills:  Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in database tools development.  Familiarity with development environments, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.  Strong communication and technical leadership skills.  Experience in mentoring and providing career development support to team members.  Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements in development methodologies.
