Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain team. Thisrole is responsible for driving accurate demand forecasting, leading demand and supplyplanning processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product availabilitywhile optimizing inventory. The ideal candidate will combine analytical expertise with strongbusiness acumen to balance customer needs, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
● Forecasting & Demand Planning• Develop, manage, and continuously improve short-, mid-, and long-term demand
• forecasts.
• Utilize statistical models, historical data, market insights, and cross-functional
• inputs to produce accurate demand forecasts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to reduce errors and
• bias.
● Supply Planning & Alignment• Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements to ensure product
• availability.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply
• with demand.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in supply planning and propose actionable
• solutions.
• Monitor and maintain secondary stock in all the channels to anticipate the sales increase
● Cross-functional Collaboration• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to incorporate
• business intelligence into demand plans.
• Lead the monthly S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) process and present
• demand outlooks.
• Act as a key liaison between commercial and supply chain functions to align
• strategies.
● Data & Process Management• Maintain planning tools and systems, ensuring data integrity and usability.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to track forecast accuracy, service levels, and
• inventory performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand and supply planning processes.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field (Master’s
• preferred).
• 8 - 15 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related
• functions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP
• systems (SAP, APO, Oracle, etc.).
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with statistical forecasting
• methods is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
