Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable full-stack web applications from requirements through production.
• Build modern user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Design and implement backend services and REST APIs using Node.js/Express or C#/.NET Core.
• Design database schemas, optimize queries, and build reliable data-access layers.
• Build AI-powered features using LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and tool/function calling.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products, workflows, and automation pipelines.
• Design and implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services, including communication, payment, CRM, and e-signature platforms.
• Deploy and operate applications using AWS or Azure and support production monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain engineering standards.
• Own technical decisions, identify risks and trade-offs, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture and technical direction.
Required Skills & Experience

Frontend

• Strong experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js and modern frontend application architecture.
• Experience with state management, API integration, responsive UI development, and frontend testing.
Backend

Strong backend development experience in either Node.js/Express or C#/.NET Core. Experience with both is a plus.• REST API design and development.
• Backend application architecture and service design.
• Microservices or modular application architecture.
• Authentication, authorization, security, and API documentation.
• Background jobs, scheduled workflows, or serverless functions.
AI / Generative AI

• Hands-on experience building applications using LLMs and Generative AI.
• Experience building AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search.
• Experience with LLM tool/function calling and external system integrations.
• Experience with AI application frameworks/SDKs such as Vercel AI SDK or LangChain.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and reliable AI application design.
• Exposure to fine-tuning or adapting models for application-specific use cases.
Database & Data

• Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Database schema design, indexing, query optimization, and ORM/data-access patterns.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or Cosmos DB is a plus.
Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with serverless/cloud application components, APIs, and managed services.
• Understanding of CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
Architecture & Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of scalable application architecture and clean coding practices.
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, modular design, and maintainable codebases.
• Automated testing and test-driven development practices where appropriate.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, technical documentation, and collaborative development.
Third-Party Integrations & Automation

• Experience integrating external APIs, webhooks, and SaaS platforms.
• Experience building workflow automation, notifications, approval pipelines, or scheduled processes.
• Experience with services such as Auth0, Twilio, Stripe, SendGrid, DocuSign, CRM platforms, or equivalent systems is a plus.
Nice to Have

• Experience working with both Node.js and .NET Core.
• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time dashboards.
• Experience with authentication standards such as OAuth/OIDC, SAML, JWT, or MFA.
• Experience leading a small engineering team or owning technical architecture.
• Experience taking AI features from prototype to production.
