Sr. Engineer

### Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer - Solar Projects
#### Key Responsibilities:
- **Design and Planning:** - Assist in the preparation of detailed site plans for solar projects, including grading, drainage, and structural designs. - Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal project locations and layouts. - Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Project Coordination:** - Support the coordination of project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. - Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met. - Participate in regular project meetings and provide updates on project progress.
- **Technical Analysis:** - Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and stability of solar installations. - Conduct geotechnical investigations and evaluate soil conditions to inform foundation design. - Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PVsyst) for drafting and modeling purposes.
- **Compliance and Quality Control:** - Ensure all designs and projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices. - Assist in the preparation and submission of permit applications and other regulatory documentation. - Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- **Documentation and Reporting:** - Prepare technical reports, design documents, and project documentation. - Maintain accurate records of project activities, including design changes, site observations, and communication logs. - Assist in the preparation of project close-out reports and as-built drawings.

#### Qualifications:
- **Education:** - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience:** - 0-2 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with exposure to renewable energy or solar projects. - Internship or project experience in solar energy is a plus.
- **Skills and Competencies:** - Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). - Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and principles. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
