Job Title: Civil/Mechanical QA/QC Engineer – Solar Projects

Department: Quality Assurance & ControlReporting to: QA/QC Manager / Project ManagerJob Summary:

We are looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer (Civil + Mechanical) with experience in utility-scale solar power projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and mechanical works meet the required quality standards and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical QA/QC:

Oversee installation of module mounting structures (MMS), solar PV modules, trackers (if any), and related mechanical works.Ensure torqueing, alignment, and structural stability of mechanical installations.Conduct inspections for materials like GI/MS structures, fasteners, and hardware before installation.Validate proper ramming or piling of foundations (if applicable).Ensure proper grounding and mechanical support for PV modules and associated infrastructure.General QA/QC:

Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation: ITPs, checklists, NCRs, RFI logs, calibration records, test reports.Perform internal audits and support external quality audits.Raise and close NCRs/observations through root cause analysis and corrective actions.Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and industry codes (IS, IEC, ASTM, etc.).Provide daily/weekly quality reports to management.Train site teams on quality standards and practices.Qualifications & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.2–7 years of experience in QA/QC for solar EPC or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of construction standards, quality procedures, and documentation.Experience with utility-scale (MW-scale) solar projects is highly preferred.Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems.Skills Required:

Strong analytical and inspection skills.Attention to detail and ability to maintain documentation.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple contractors/vendors and resolve field issues.
