General Physician (MBBS)

About the RoleLoop Health is looking for a dedicated General Physician (MBBS) to anchor the clinical delivery of our onsite corporate health programs and to extend clinical support across our wider health offering. This is a hands-on, field-facing role for a doctor who is equally comfortable running a high volume health camp, consulting patients over teleconsultation, and lending clinical judgement to webinars, employer health sessions and our product teams. The role is built around a clear split: 60% of time is on-field clinical support for onsite health camps run by the Loop team, and 40% is distributed across teleconsultations, webinars and seminars, and clinical support to non-clinical and product teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Onsite Health Camps (≈60%)• Serve as the attending physician at corporate onsite health camps run by the Loop team — conducting physician consultations, reviewing screening results, and guiding employees on findings.
• Perform fitness-to-work and pre-employment medical assessments, and issue medical fitness certificates as per protocol.
• Conduct and interpret non-communicable disease (NCD) screening — hypertension, diabetes and related risk factors — and counsel employees on lifestyle and follow-up.
• Oversee the clinical quality of camp stations (vitals/MER, blood collection, ECG, vision, audiometry, PFT) in coordination with nurses, technicians and health workers.
• Identify and appropriately escalate abnormal or critical findings, ensuring employees are advised on confirmatory testing or urgent care where needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EMR for every consultation during the camp.
• Uphold clinical safety, consent and confidentiality standards on every camp site.
B. Teleconsultation (part of ≈40%)• Provide teleconsultations to employees and members across Loop's programs, delivering safe, evidence-based advice within the scope of a general physician.
• Document teleconsultations accurately and arrange appropriate referrals or follow-ups.
• Maintain professional standards of virtual care, including clear communication and patient counselling over voice/video.
C. Webinars, Seminars & Health Education (part of ≈40%)• Deliver health-awareness webinars and seminars for corporate clients and employee groups on topics such as preventive health, NCD management, lifestyle and workplace wellness.
• Prepare and review clinically accurate content for sessions, decks and employee-facing health communication.
• Represent Loop Health as a clinical voice in employer health sessions and Q&A; forums.
D. Clinical Support to Product & Non-Clinical Teams (part of ≈40%)• Act as a clinical reviewer and subject-matter expert for product, operations and content teams — validating health packages, protocols, care pathways and member-facing material.
• Provide clinical input into the design of health-checkup packages, SOPs and screening protocols.
• Support audits, data collection and clinical-quality reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of Loop's clinical operations.
• Collaborate with operations and admin teams on reporting and coordination as required.

Qualifications & EligibilityMandatory• MBBS degree from a recognised institution, with 2+ years of experience and demonstrated clinical exposure.
• Completed compulsory rotating internship from a recognised institution.
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council.
Preferred clinical experience (one or more)• Occupational Health Centre (OHC) / corporate clinic setup
• Conducting health check-ups and high-volume OPD settings
• NCD screening (hypertension, diabetes)
• Medical camps / community health programs
• Fitness-to-work assessments and occupational health exposure
Good to have• Prior experience in high-volume OPD settings
• Exposure to public health programs
• BLS / ACLS certification

Availability & Logistics• Willingness to work fixed on-site hours and to travel for camps as required.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
• Comfortable working in non-hospital, field-based or corporate environments as per role requirements.

Note: This is a field-facing clinical role. Candidates must be comfortable working in non-hospital, corporate and field environments, balancing onsite camp duties with teleconsultation, health education and clinical product support.
