JOB OVERVIEW:Department: Supply Chain - Last Mile OperationsLocation: Mumbai(Near Kandivali East)
About the Role:We are looking for a highly driven Zonal Head – Last Mile Operations to oversee theday-to-day execution of last-mile delivery operations across multiple dark storeswithin an assigned zone. The role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence,workforce management, service level adherence, and coordination acrosscross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:● Manage the overall operations of multiple dark stores within the assignedzone.● Ensure smooth execution of daily last-mile delivery operations whilemaintaining service level agreements (SLAs).● Lead and supervise Last Mile Executives (LMEs) to drive operational disciplineand process compliance.● Monitor workforce planning, attendance, deployment, and manpoweravailability across all assigned locations.● Track route execution, delivery performance, and operational KPIs throughinternal systems and dashboards.● Coordinate with Mid Mile, Warehouse, Customer Experience, HR, and othersupport functions for smooth daily operations.● Identify operational bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution through effectiveroot cause analysis.● Drive continuous improvements in productivity, route efficiency, deliveryquality, and customer satisfaction.● Monitor inventory movement, stock availability, and operational readinessacross assigned dark stores.● Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and operationalguidelines.● Review operational reports, analyze performance trends, and presentactionable insights to leadership.● Coach, mentor, and develop the field operations team through regular reviewsand performance feedback.● Support hiring, onboarding, training, and capability development of deliverypartners.● Ensure timely closure of operational issues and maintain high standards ofexecution across the zone.
Desired Candidate Profile:● Graduate in any discipline; qualification in Supply Chain or Operations is anadded advantage.● 2–5 years of experience in Last Mile Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, FMCG,Quick Commerce, or E-commerce.● Experience in managing multiple operational sites and field teams.● Strong leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills.● Good analytical skills with experience using operational dashboards andreports.● Ability to work in early morning operational shifts as per businessrequirements.● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational management tools is preferred.
