Job Title - QHSE Supervisor
Department: OperationsReporting To: Zonal Operations HeadEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: Multiple Project Sites Across India
Role Overview
We are looking for a QHSE Supervisor (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality solar installations across our residential project sites. You will be responsible for driving safety protocols, site quality inspections, vendor compliance, and training programs for on-ground teams.If you have a sharp eye for detail, care deeply about worker safety, and believe in clean energy done right—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance & Monitoring
Conduct daily safety audits and toolbox talks on-siteEnsure proper use of PPE, scaffolding, and electrical safety standardsReport incidents/near-misses and drive root cause analysisQuality Assurance
Inspect structural & electrical work during and post-installationEnsure adherence to SolarSquare’s QMS (Quality Management System)Flag and follow up on defects, damages, or deviations from SOPsDocumentation & Training
Maintain site safety checklists, inspection reports, and daily logsConduct periodic training and refreshers for field teams and vendorsSupport audits by internal teams or DISCOM bodiesVendor Supervision
Evaluate third-party vendors’ compliance with quality and HSE standardsDrive corrective actions when non-compliance is observed
Key Requirements
Education:Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Safety Management(Preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil)Experience:2–5 years in HSE, Quality Control, or Site Supervision (solar, electrical, infrastructure preferred)
Skills:Knowledge of ISO 45001 / OHSAS / electrical safety standardsGood communication in Hindi, English & regional languageStrong documentation, audit, and incident reporting skillsHands-on with Google Sheets, Excel, safety forms, and mobile apps
Other Requirements :-Two-wheeler with valid licenseSmartphone with internet accessOpen to frequent site travel and field presenceAvailable on weekends (weekday off)
