About the Role

As the Lead Business Analyst of Uber Freight (UF) Strategy & Planning (S&P;), you will be creating outputs that are high impact, high visibility and cross-functional. You will be driving Weekly/Monthly Business Reviews, developing dashboards for the Executive Leadership Team, analyzing competitive intelligence, and diving into some of our biggest problems. The role will require a mix of critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical/technical skills, and great presentation skills. This role will work cross-functionally, especially with commercial, marketplace, operations, finance and tech teams. A successful candidate will be someone that is excited to create leadership presentations, dive deep into the data, and work across teams to drive impact.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Build, coordinate, and improve UF’s internal Monthly Business Review - our primary forum for senior leadership to review business performance 

• Coordinate, build, and improve UF’s section of the Global Business Review - the primary forum where we share UF’s performance with Uber leadership

• Develop and maintain core executive leadership dashes - create robust, useful reporting to track day-to-day and week-to-week performance on core metrics 

• Develop and coordinate competitive intelligence insights - leverage internal and external data sources to provide timely 

• Help refine strategic priorities and support key initiatives across the organization 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree 

• 7+ years of professional experience  

• Strong analytical skillset, particularly in SQL and Google Sheets/Excel

• Confident builder of presentations (Google Slides/Powerpoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong strategic skillset 

• Proficiency in Tableau

• A consistent track record of driving impact on cross-functional teams 

• Experience in either technology or marketplaces 

• Experience with R / Python or other programming languages

Illinois: The target base salary for this position is between $121,350 - $170,900
