Partner Manager
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Loop’s partner motion with the most impactful logistics providers and platforms across the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for both setting our logistics strategy in EMEA and then working cross-functionally (with both internal and external partners) to execute against those strategies, serving as both an advocate and expert on Loop’s platform and - in many respects - as Loop’s most visible representative in these emerging markets. This role sits in our Partnerships team, and carries responsibility not only for building, leading and deepening relationships with existing logistics partners across EMEA but also for launching and scaling new ones, in tight collaboration with Product and Engineering when necessary.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll be directly contributing to Loop’s expansion into international markets, building out a network of deeply engaged and tightly-integrated logistics partners who can support Loop’s local merchant needs, and accelerate our EMEA go-to-market (GTM) goals. As part of those efforts, you will also drive internal awareness of those partnerships within Loop to ensure every merchant-facing Looper knows which partners to lean on in which situations.
At Loop, we're intentional about how we work so everyone can do their best work. We call this our Blended Working Environment. Our team is based across our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, as well as Hub and Secluded locations throughout the United States, select Canadian provinces, the United Kingdom, and select Australian states.
For this role, we're looking for someone based in London, UK.
What You’ll Do:
• Serve as the strategic owner of Loop’s logistics strategy across EMEA, building on where we’re strong today and continually pushing (from both a Product and Partnerships perspective) to break new ground
• Manage and own a pipeline of partner-sourced sales opportunities, working alongside the go-to-market leadership & Account Executive teams to support complex sales cycles.
• Drive revenue growth for Loop through consistent execution against quarterly pipeline goals
• Create and execute joint business plans with partners to develop go-to-market strategies that drive mutual benefit and pipeline growth for both Loop and our partners. Establish strong relationships at each partner to support these efforts.
• Collaborate with PMM, Marketing, and Sales to identify opportunities that amplify & strengthen Loop’s regional brand awareness in the logistics ecosystem via campaigns, co-marketing, case studies and events.
• Develop a region-specific point of view on how Loop can achieve its growth objectives with each key partner, and build the plan for how to execute on those objectives.
• Become the face & owner of a highly dynamic ecosystem of logistics partners that are actively engaged with the Loop brand, platform & prospects.
• Work alongside our Agency/Tech Partner managers and our other NA-based logistics PMs to connect the dots and maximize Loop’s regional and partner-specific product and go-to-market opportunities
• Travel regularly to meet our ecosystem partners in person as much as needed.
Your Experience:
• You have a deep understanding of the UK D2C e-commerce logistics and backend operations market and an existing rolodex of local relationships with those partners (WMS, 3PLs, Carriers etc).
• 3+ years of channel or logistics sales experience in a client-facing role with a proven track record of hitting revenue targets, owning/forecasting a pipeline and creating go-to-market playbooks.
• Highly resourceful and entrepreneurial operator who can work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-moving company and collaborate with cross-functional, global teams.
• Logistics acumen - you know how businesses work, are knowledgeable in current/future practices, trends, technology, etc.
• Strategic agility - you see ahead, anticipate relationship and decision-making dynamics, and naturally adapt to situations.
• You’re a strong active listener and communicator, and have examples to share of how you’ve brought consensus to a variety of challenging situations.
• You are willing and able to travel 20% of the time to meet with new and existing partners and establish in-person relationships
