As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, we support customers in adopting cutting-edge technologies, including GenAI, toaccelerate digital transformation.Job Description – Sr. DevOps EngineerWe are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who can help the team establish strong DevOps practices and drive customer-centric solutions. The candidate should have experience with customer engagements and sentiment management while leading projects and implementing dynamic solutions based on customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:● Work closely with the Client’s Technical Lead and/or Engineering Head to establish DevOps best practices.● Lead and mentor junior team members● Build Secure, scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on automation.● Implement monitoring and automated system health checks for proactive issue resolution.● Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines while training and guiding teams in DevOps methodologies.● Engage with customers to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful implementations.● Lead projects and deliver customized, scalable solutions based on customer needs.● Implement projects involving cloud migrations, cost optimization, security implementation and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for business continuity.● Work with peer technology teams to leverage solutions in DevOps/Cloud Engineering (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, etc.).● Ensure adherence to DevOps processes, identify improvements, and minimize inefficiencies.● Review, verify, and validate Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripts and cloud infrastructure designs.● Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, with the ability to solve 1600 or equivalent problems on platforms like CodeChef, HackerRank, or HackerEarth.● Create and maintain clear, structured documentation,work breakdown structure for DevOps processes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and disaster recovery strategies.Ensure all documentation is easily understandable and well-organized for future reference by team members and stakeholders.● Manage incident resolution and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.● Design and implement multi-stage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.● Work with Terraform, automation scripts, and cron jobs to streamline infrastructure management.● Manage Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications in cloud environments.● Maintain and optimize production infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability.Skills & Qualifications:● Agile mindset with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement● Strong cross-team collaboration skills with experience in Scrum teams and JIRA● Hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing cloud services.● Experience with Linux and Windows infrastructure management.● Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to debug complex issues.● Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, and automation tools.● Experience with AWS SAM, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Keycloak.● Strong knowledge of DevOps and Agile principles with hands-on experience in multi-stage CI/CD pipelines.● Customer engagement experience, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs.● Ability to lead projects and drive dynamic implementations based on customer requirements.● Skilled in static code quality assurance tools (ESLint, Pylint, SonarQube, etc.).If you are a proactive engineer with expertise in DevOps, cloud migrations, and DR strategies, along with a strong ability to engage with customers and lead projects, we encourage you to apply!
