AV Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our Maintenance team. We are looking for someone with a strong service mindset who always puts the guest first.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure all technical equipment is properly prepared and set up in conference areas.
• Service and maintenance of all AV equipment.
• Participate in the planning and execution of conferences and events.
• Support and assist in the smooth running of the property maintenance department, where the property is maintained to the highest level whilst ensuring that maintenance and company standards are adhered to.
• Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the property maintenance department taking ownership for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Develops and builds own skills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity within property maintenance department, which aligns with the culture of growth, development and performance expected by the company. 
• Collaborates with the Head of Department, ensuring that departmental inventory is maintained, that productivity targets are achieved and performance levels are attained
• Build and maintain effective working relationships, communicating with key stakeholders whilst promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required

Qualifications

We require experience within AV technology, including:

• Audio.
• Lighting.
• Video.
• IT.
 

As an AV Technician, you should quickly understand clients' needs and wishes and be able to provide the best technical solution for each event organizer. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, responsible, and proactive. A positive "Yes I Can" service attitude is essential.

You must have excellent knowledge of English, spoken and written.
