Who you'll work with
We are seeking an Optical Transceiver Reliability and Qualification Engineer to lead the reliability testing and qualification of our internally developed optical transceivers. As we prepare for upcoming prototype builds, you will partner closely with external vendors and internal engineering teams. You will drive reliability assessments, manage qualification execution, and lead failure analysis to ensure our products meet strict performance and quality standards.
What you'll do
• Manage Qualification Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive reliability and qualification plans for optical transceivers from prototype to mass production.
• Collaborate with Vendors: Partner with manufacturing vendors to oversee testing execution, review data, and ensure adherence to quality requirements at our HQ location.
• Lead Failure Analysis: Investigate device failures during stress testing, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams on corrective actions.
• Define Reliability Standards: Establish reliability test methods, environmental stress screening protocols, and life-testing criteria based on industry standards (e.g., Telcordia, IEEE).
• Analyze Data: Review test data, generate qualification reports, and present findings to leadership and development teams.
