Global Category Manager(Displays)_ M

Lead the global category management of displays and related products, including display glasses, backlight units and touch panels.

• Define and execute global category strategies in alignment with worldwide business requirements.
• Lead global sourcing initiatives and supplier selection activities in collaboration with divisions, manufacturing plants, and purchasing teams across countries and regions.
• Drive commercial excellence and realize cost competitiveness through price negotiations, productivity measures, and supply base optimization.
•  Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to support sustainable business growth and innovation.
• Develop and drive supply chain resilience strategies, including supplier footprint optimization, localization, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Ensure supply security and manage allocation, shortage, and supply chain risk situations.
• Act as Supplier Key Account Manager for designated suppliers within the category.
• Collaborate closely with internal business units to achieve the best business performance.
• Lead Global Commodity Buyers (GCBs) and coordinate category-related activities worldwide.
• Lead end-to-end category activities including market intelligence, supplier development, sourcing, nomination, and supplier performance management.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the manager.
