About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Head – Paper & Pulp Chemicals to lead and grow ourchemicals business catering to the paper and pulp industry. The ideal candidate will have strongcommercial expertise in specialty/process chemicals, with a proven track record of driving businessgrowth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding product portfolios within the paper & pulpchemicals segment.
Key Responsibilities● Develop and execute the business strategy for the Paper & Pulp Chemicals vertical.● Drive revenue growth, profitability, and P&L; ownership.● Develop and manage relationships with paper mills, OEMs, distributors, and key industrystakeholders.● Expand the portfolio of process and specialty chemicals used in paper and pulp manufacturing.● Identify new business opportunities, supplier partnerships, and market segments.● Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract management.● Collaborate with R&D;, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver customer-specific chemicalsolutions.● Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
Preferred Background● 7+ years of experience in Paper & Pulp Chemicals, Process Chemicals, SpecialtyChemicals, or Industrial Chemicals.● Strong understanding of chemicals such as retention aids, sizing agents, strength additives,coating chemicals, bleaching chemicals, defoamers, and water treatment chemicals used inpaper manufacturing.● Proven experience in business development, key account management, and P&L; leadership.● Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
