Role : Principal Scientist-Speciality Polymer (Polyurethanes, Polyamides, Polyols)
Role Overview
Scimplify is seeking a Speciality Polymer R&D; Leader to lead innovation and process development in polyurethane systems, polyamides, and polyos for speciality industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead polymer synthesis and formulation development.
• Drive new product development for specialty polymer applications.
• Develop scalable processes for polyurethane, polyamide, and polyol systems.
• Work closely with commercial teams to translate market requirements into product innovation.
• Manage pilot scale development and technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Build strong collaborations with global customers and research partners.
• Lead and mentor the polymer R&D; team.
Qualifications
• PhD / M.Tech in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong experience in polymer synthesis and formulation chemistry.
• Experience in global/MNC R&D; environments.
• Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in R&D;.
Preferred Background
• Specialty polymers
