Get to Know the Role
This is a multi-scope Associate Business Development role responsible for translating company strategy into growth opportunities across several key business areas. You will cover the following areas:
• Dine Out Business Growth: Acquire new merchants and incubate existing partners to grow GMV, increase merchant-funded investment, and expand adoption of Grab's Dine Out services.
• Travel and GrabCoins Partnerships: Explore partnership opportunities across Travel and GrabCoins and support their development to drive business adoption and create incremental value for Grab's ecosystem.
• New Growth Projects: Help execute new projects and workstreams aligned with company strategy to explore growth opportunities and contribute to long-term business development.
You will report to the Business Development Manager and work on-site in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
• Acquire new Dine Out merchants through targeted outreach, including cold-calling and direct engagement.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and incubation merchants to drive GMV growth and expand service adoption.
• Develop partnership initiatives across Travel and GrabCoins to drive business adoption and create incremental value for Grab.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Country Commercial, Marketing, GIP, Transport, and Food, to build partner pipelines and execute business initiatives.
• Help execute new growth projects and workstreams aligned with company strategy.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide updates to support decision-making.
